This past Saturday we set off on an expedition to change the world. We hit the road and biked out to the Far Rockaways for a Surfrider Foundation beach cleanup! Maybe you didn’t notice the change, but we know our effort was a positive one and had an impact, if even in a small way. With a handful of surfers in the R44 office and a lot of beach-goers, it’s our responsibility to take care of our beaches and waterways!
We made a quick pitstop at a Brooklyn nature reserve and arrived at the cleanup just in time to scour the beaches for trash. Next time you will have to join us!
